Erev Shabbat

Had a lovely walk through Poznan shopping at local markets, fresh produce, local farm eggs and all the ingredients for Shashouka. Jakub  made an sumptuous brunch, and we are sitting quietly enjoying the damp gray skies and rain. It is a bit chilly by my standards and had to borrow a sweater. But we are listening

 to music, talking and unwinding from an emotional week both personally with the passing of my close friend and the context of being in Auschwitz-Birkeneau. We both (Jakub and I) needed this day and this coming Shabbat. Shabbat shalom
