I am doing this in two parts because I can not rightfully explain the entire day in one piece

Those of you who have seen HOTEL RWANDA would apreciate this morning's walk.  Carl explained how the street we were waking on was occuped wih UN vehicles and how he would visit the Hotel des Mille Collines three times a week to meet with UN officials and try to bring supplies to the Gizimba orphanage. He did however give us insight into what portions of the film were not entirely accurate. Never the less the hotel has been re painted and refurbished but mainly is the same that it was during the genocide. If you saw the movie  when the water in the pool was used by those holed up in the hotel this was accurate and the pool is original. He also explained how the room numbers were removed because the HUTU forces were looking for specific rooms in which to murder Tutsi"s
